I've walked past Farmfoods every day for about two years without going in, and in all honesty I was never ever tempted. The advertising was so awful, just watching it made me feel cheap. In fact I used to rant to dinner guests that Farmfoods was having the converse effect of a Waitrose nearby (It was reducing the value of our property). Anyway, one day on the way home I broke my duck. I went in there some milk. Not a big deal, but unless I had the necessary errand I might never have gone in… Read Full Review

I wasn't convinced. The TV adverts do it no favours. It is clearly targeting lower socio-economic groups, but.... It's great. OK, my expections weren't that high, but the staff they have in my local farm foods are amazing! I honesty haven't been in many shops were they are that helpful, friendly etc. Yes, I know that they are promopted by the til to say certain things, but they always go a lot further. I shop in Sainsbury's (alot). It's the closest supermarket to my work and I only wish that… Read Full Review

I love spare ribs but avoid the L.A diner ribs from Farmfoods, When you bite into what you think is meat your jaw stops closing almost straight away because your teeth hit bone. Very small amount of meat so you pay £3.50 for a bag of bones but my dog likes that, then i'm off to the fridge for something to eat. the staff in my local Acocks Green branch never offer too help you load the bags. One staff member,Louise is so grumpy and looks at people like they are dirt and she's Ajax,I think Danni… Read Full Review

Farmfoods is a very good shop which I commonly frequent; often on my way to College. I think the deals there are great, but the staff are a bit too slow to recognise that there are people at the tills, they are otherwise stacking shelves, either in the front or the back. Home bargains is also very good as another guest stated beforehand, and I concur that I will be going to Home Bargains in the future for essentials, shower stuff, but definitely food for Farmfoods, whereas the Home bargains do… Read Full Review

I've shopped at Farmfoods for a number of years, and used to be a fan of their cheap prices for reasonable brands. They were so much cheaper than the supermarkets such as Tesco (and still are. However, recently they have put their prices up - 69p for a packet of fig rolls - no chance when they're only 39p across the road at Home Bargains. The bread offer (2 for £1.50) is still good though, but it does seem to be these offers that are the best value. I just think they need to be a bit careful… Read Full Review

as i am a morrisons shopper i was getting something for lunch, but cannock seems a bit tame as it is only a smaller one compared to the one we regularly use at bilston, so i new there was a farmfoods at cannock shopping centre, so i went there, outside it looks somewhat attractive, plenty of offers and in a nice area, seeing about 6 or 7 shoppers with bags before hand i guess it must be good, but the store is very dark, quiet and of course somethings harder to find, although they have plenty of… Read Full Review

i went for a quick look around while dad was in jjb sports, the store was small and had a breif selection, especially in the groceries where it was more of a find something random phase, like i found a single mars drink, a box of cereal or something and a few bits of candy, isles are narrow and choice is limited… Read Full Review

I live in Fort William the Highlands of Scotland and sadly Farmfoods is my only freezer store. I have bought food from there 3 times now, and I have to say the quality is really bad, it seems to me that the so called low prices reflect the quality of food. I can honestly say, I will NOT be shopping there again even though the staff are friendly and helpful the food is very low quality.
Sorry Farmfoods, maybe you should take a leaf out of Icelands book, and sell top quality food at good… Read Full Review

I saved £28 in a £100 shop at Farmfoods and diddnt go for "own brand" products. I used to buy most of my shopping from ASDA but i can get the same loaf of bread from farmfoods for 25p less and 2lt of milk for a massive 54p less after noticing this i done a shop in both and compaired prices. i am shocked at how much i saved, "ASDA Price" my bum. I would love the big supermarkets to do a popular product basket comparison with Farmfoods. You would never hear the result. Top brands at very… Read Full Review
