Do not get involved with this company; you cannot contact them to discuss issues, they hide behind their emails. They may appear cheap on their quotes (which they are) but there is absolutely no service.
I cannot believe that a so called FSA regulated company can trade in this manner. I wish I had r ...

Without a shodaow of a doubt, ECAR INSURANCE LTD. are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I took out my insurance, send in all the documents that were requested from me (licence, NCB etc.) and a month later my policy is cancelled beacuse apparently they didn't recieve my No claims discount.... ...

Took the policy as it was the cheapest, and had used them before. Luckily I'd never had any other dealings other than them taking my money. I renewed my latest policy, being told that as it was with them, I didn't need to send in my ncd details... This was fine until I received a recorded letter inf ...

OMG, I can't believe what I'm reading here. I'm only about 5 months into my policy with eCar Insurance and hope everything is okay.

Can anyone tell me how much No Claims Discount (NCD) you recieve after one year? Will their be issues if I don't renew?

Any tips to get out of this policy smoothly as ...

eCar Insurance took my money - 800 pounds and then a month later I was stopped by the police who told me I had no cover. They seized the car and the next day (20/8/09) I had a letter saying my insurance had been cancelled on the 3/8/09 because they had not recieved a copy of my drivers licence. My D ...

'The customer is always lying until he/she can prove otherwise' seems to be eCars mantra.

I too wish I had read the reveiws before taking out a policy with them. The quote from eCar was the cheapest, so I went ahead.
Their customer service is appauling 'The computer says No' stylie i.e. no matter ...

    Absolutely dreadful.

I wouldn't touch eCar with a barge pole. Bought a policy from them for my wife and they have been simply hopeless - I have had to fight with them for weeks at huge cost on their £1 per minute phone line in order to get a simple change of vehicle.

Ended up with a policy ...

OMG I cant beleive ecar insurance is legally operating!
I was insured with them last year with no claims, or queries. So when i got a renewal email i thought why not?
All was easy, linked to them through the mail sent to me , my details came up automatically , all I had to do was made the payment.

My car was damaged in an accident recently and the driver who hit me accepts full responsibility for the incident. ecarinsurance.co.uk is not willing to replace the panel that was damaged and only want to 'repair' it. This will affect the resale value of my car. I am not impressed by their customer ...
