“Absolutely shockingly awful experience”

★☆☆☆☆

written by AndersonCannon137 on 23/10/2023

Absolutely shockingly awful experience DO NOT GO WITH SAFESTYLE UK. We used them to replaced uPVC windows in our property in north London, I can not begin to explain how stressful it has been. They visited our property June 2023 and sold us on a tight turn around and low price and good product. We signed on the deal and paid deposit. They sent a surveyor out quickly as agreed, after this visit it descended into chaos. We did not receive a clear report from the surveyor and we were unable to understand from anyone at Safestyle what was going on for 3 months. They avoided our calls, emails, letters sent by hand to CEO etc, we even tried to contact personnel at Safestyle via linked desperately begging anyone to help us. Finally someone had the courage to contact us and admitted they had messed up our order and under-priced the job by £4,000!!! which was almost a third on top of the original price we had signed on with them. We could have pulled out at this point and started from scratch with other company, we should have!!!! We managed to negotiate this £4k needed down somewhat and with the promise they would install the windows for us in the next two weeks, we believed it was still the only option we had as the delay to our build at this stage was causing a huge amount of other issues. To start from scratch with a new company, the timelines were difficult to face. The installer eventually came to site after some more delays and was APPAULING, they turned up two hours late complaining about traffic and told our builders before they even got close to the property the scaffolding was not in the correct place and within 10 minutes was back in his car saying he wasn't doing the job, even though we had shown photos of the scaffolding to Safestyle in advance and had our builder call Safestyle directly and discuss with them to make sure everyone was in agreement in advance of the installation visit that the site was ready for installation. We were forced to pay another £2500 to move the scaffolding, after talking to multiple people at Safestyle they told us this was our only option. When the next installer arrived on site it was a different friendly person from the 1st thankfully, BUT he said that if he had been the original person to arrive on site two weeks prior he would not have needed to move the scaffolding, which was heart-breaking as it had delayed us by another two weeks and cost us yet another £2500 as two weeks prior we were told we HAD to move the scaffolding. The financial ruin we are now in thanks to Safestyle has caused us unprecedented stress. Many of the windows were damaged on arrival, so the majority were sent back so we faced yet more delays. We now have the windows installed thankfully. It is now mid October so around 4 months late. However they are really not a great product at all and installation wasn't up to scratch, gaps and filler shown, they look unfinished. We will live with this though as at least we have windows. The additional costs we faced, delays and appalling customer service, its been unbelievably stressful, this is an AWFUL company that should be shut down. I will be doing all I can to inform potential customers to save the pain we went through. Reviews/watchdog/panorama I will be reporting where I can. Safestyle - I see you for what you are and you should be ashamed.

Has Safestyle gone bust?
========================

Has Safestyle gone bust? This question has been circulating among homeowners and industry insiders alike. Safestyle, a prominent name in the windows and doors market, has experienced some challenges in recent times that have raised concerns about the company's financial stability. With rumors swirling about possible bankruptcy or insolvency, customers are left wondering about the fate of their warranties and ongoing projects.

However, it's important to tread with caution when discussing the financial health of any company. While Safestyle has faced some difficulties, it is crucial to rely on accurate and up-to-date information before jumping to conclusions. As of now, there has been no official announcement stating that Safestyle has gone bankrupt.

Rumors and speculation about Safestyle's financial status
---------------------------------------------------------

The rumors surrounding Safestyle's financial status have caused a great deal of uncertainty among customers and industry observers. Speculation about the company's financial troubles has been fueled by various factors, including reports of declining sales and market share. However, it's important to note that rumors can often be exaggerated or based on incomplete information.

To get a clearer picture of Safestyle's financial situation, it's necessary to look at the company's response to these rumors and examine their financial reports.

Safestyle's response to the rumors
----------------------------------

Safestyle has been quick to address the rumors and provide reassurance to their customers. In a statement released by the company, they acknowledged the challenges they have faced but emphasized their commitment to overcoming them. They highlighted their ongoing efforts to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and adapt to changing market conditions.

Safestyle also emphasized that their customers' warranties and ongoing projects would not be affected by any potential financial difficulties. They assured homeowners that their investments in Safestyle products and services would be protected, providing peace of mind amidst the uncertainty.

Analysis of Safestyle's financial reports
-----------------------------------------

To gain a deeper understanding of Safestyle's financial health, it's essential to analyze their financial reports. These reports provide valuable insights into the company's revenue, profitability, and overall financial performance.

According to the latest financial report released by Safestyle, the company has indeed experienced a decline in sales and profitability compared to previous years. This can be attributed to a combination of factors, including increased competition, economic uncertainties, and changing consumer preferences.

However, it's worth noting that Safestyle's financial reports also highlight their efforts to mitigate these challenges. Their focus on cost reduction, process optimization, and product innovation demonstrates their commitment to long-term sustainability.

Factors affecting Safestyle's business performance
--------------------------------------------------

Several factors have contributed to Safestyle's recent challenges. One significant factor is the highly competitive nature of the windows and doors market. The industry is crowded with both established players and new entrants, making it challenging to maintain market share and sustain growth.

Moreover, the economic climate has also played a role in Safestyle's business performance. Economic downturns and uncertainties can impact consumer spending, leading to a decrease in demand for home improvement products.

Additionally, changing consumer preferences and evolving market trends have influenced Safestyle's sales. Customers are increasingly looking for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly options, which may require companies to adapt and invest in new technologies and product offerings.

Safestyle's strategies to overcome challenges
---------------------------------------------

Despite the challenges they have faced, Safestyle has not been sitting idly. The company has implemented several strategies to address the issues affecting their business performance.

Firstly, Safestyle has focused on enhancing their product range to meet the changing demands of customers. They have introduced new designs and features that align with current market trends, such as energy efficiency and sustainability.

Secondly, Safestyle has invested in digital marketing and online platforms to reach a wider customer base. By leveraging digital channels, they can connect with potential customers and showcase their products and services more effectively.

Finally, Safestyle has prioritized operational efficiency and cost reduction. By streamlining their processes and optimizing their supply chain, they aim to improve margins and enhance overall profitability.

Customer experiences and reviews
--------------------------------

To gauge the impact of Safestyle's financial challenges on their customers, it's important to consider their experiences and reviews. While some customers may have experienced delays or disruptions due to the company's difficulties, others have reported positive experiences with Safestyle's products and services.

It's crucial to acknowledge that every customer's experience may vary, and it's essential to consider a range of perspectives when evaluating a company's reputation.

Comparison with competitors in the industry
-------------------------------------------

To gain a better understanding of Safestyle's position in the market, it's helpful to compare them with their competitors. The windows and doors industry is highly competitive, with several players vying for market share.

While Safestyle has faced some challenges, they still maintain a significant presence in the industry. Competitor analysis reveals that Safestyle's product quality, customer service, and brand reputation are strong points of differentiation. However, they must continue to innovate and adapt to remain competitive in an ever-changing market landscape.

Safestyle's future prospects
----------------------------

Looking ahead, Safestyle's future prospects depend on their ability to navigate the challenges they currently face. Their focus on operational efficiency, product innovation, and customer satisfaction will play a crucial role in determining their success.

While it's impossible to predict the future with certainty, Safestyle's long-standing presence and commitment to their customers provide a solid foundation for optimism. By addressing their financial challenges head-on and adapting to market dynamics, they have the potential to regain momentum and secure their place in the industry.

Conclusion and final thoughts
-----------------------------

In conclusion, the question of whether Safestyle has gone bust remains unanswered. While the company has faced some difficulties and challenges in recent times, there has been no official announcement of bankruptcy or insolvency.

It's important to approach rumors and speculation about Safestyle's financial status with caution. Relying on accurate and up-to-date information, such as the company's official statements and financial reports, is crucial in forming an informed opinion.

Safestyle's response to the rumors, their strategies to overcome challenges, and their commitment to their customers should provide some reassurance. While the company may face headwinds in a competitive industry, they have the potential to bounce back and secure their position as a trusted provider of windows and doors.

Ultimately, homeowners and industry observers should stay informed and wait for official announcements or credible sources before drawing any conclusions about Safestyle's future.

“Poor customer service ”

written by Michelleh2 on 18/10/2023

I had my windows and door fitted in February 23. Originally when ordering i was told fitting would be December 22. The fitters were lovely and did a great job. However in March 23, the front door window pane shattered. I rang safestyle who were quick enough to support and say they would get some out to fix it. This is when it goes doen hill. I was told the glass would stay in place, however the shattered pieces were falling out around my dogs and children. I sealed the glass with tape myself to prevent any harm. Contacted safestyle who advised me to call my home insurance to get the window boarded up. By doing this I'd also have to pay excess and loose no claims. Months pass by and I keep chasing safestyle to get this glass fixed. During this time, fitters have been out 4 times to obtain new templates for the glass to be cut due to either the glass getting lost or the templates going missing. I have had to take days off work through annual leave or unpaid to wait for these fitters to come. Now we are in October 23, I still have a shattered glass pane, my door has a gap at the top resulting in a draft. My door leaks when it rains and the water is damaging my wooden floor! I have made a formal complaint and haven't had a single update. Every week I call safestyle asking for a update. The only response I get is 'we will get the depo manager to call you back today with an update'. This is a call I have never had. I keep getting told the same sentence every time I call. If this was a item from a shop, I could easily take it back and get a exchange. Instead I'm stuck with a faulty front door, and poor customer service. Safestyle quote on the phone, 'safestyle are not happy until the customer is'. However, there has been no effort made from safestyle to support with this issue. From my experience, I will not be getting the rest of the house fitted by safestyle. I have no trust in them and they are causing my anxiety! The whole point of a front door was for it to be more energy efficient and warmer. This is the complete opposite. Plus I'm at risk of being broken into which goes in one ear and out the other with safestyle. My door is still broken and issue is no where to being resolved.

“Horrible experience ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Cannon201 on 17/10/2023

I'm actually unsure where to begin with SafeStyle but this company is absolutely awful, from the moment someone came over to give us a quote on all windows and doors and trying to trick us into verifying an email which would of had us agree a a contract with them to go ahead with the sale, which we queried as we hadn't agreed to anything at this point, to the salesman telling us he isn't here for a 'quote' his hear for the 'business' we explained we needed a quote first like any normal person would but he was very pushy and began to be very rude in his mannerism, previous to this we asked a couple of questions about the different locks he had shown us to which he said 'read the book' & didn't help any further, once he left both my partner and i were pretty gobsmacked, the next day we were called back by the manager who was also rude when we declined the quoted offer, and hung up, we have since had calls from various people from the company who then also change their attitude when you say No Thank you, we explained to one person the bad experience we had and he also had a bad attitude, there customer service is absolutely shocking, yet they still continue to ring on a weekly basis, and like to hang up on you when u explain your no longer interested This company doesn't like being told no, trying to trick us into the sale was also a big red flag along with the rudeness so anyone considering using these please beware.

“NO NOT USE Safestyle.”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Alaynav1961 on 16/10/2023

I had a reply to my last review BUT its all a lie to make people think they are concerned BUT they seriously do not care. Once they have your money your ignored. I Paid £15,000 for new windows and doors, fitted over 2 days BUT there are loads of problems, the patio doors need replacing, the front arch needs replacing, ALL THE LOCKS are cheap ones that a locksmith says he could break into within 90 seconds, their FAULSE Advertising on security is just a ripoff and I have sent 6 emails, called 19 times and had 3 of your people out and EVERY SINGLE one of them have lied through their teeth, they all say, (I will make sure it is sorted out), Still nothing, another one lied to my face. I had to get an emergency locksmith out costing £125 that they said I would get back straight away, STILL WAITING. I advise all social media and trustpilot DO NOT USE SAFESTYLE, they are a disgraceful company and will cause you nothing but heartache. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I WILL NOT LET THIS REST. Today I am emailing Rough Traders and I have a legal Company willing to take this on so I can then sue you

We had all of the doors and windows in our property replaced by safestyle over 18 months ago. They have been back to "fix" problems with them more 15 times and we're still waiting for a 16th visit to fix two more problems. This last visit has been cancelled with 1 day's notice 3 times... TERRIBLE company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. just awful service, terrible fitters and cheap product.

“One star is generous”

★☆☆☆☆

written by MattChambo on 04/10/2023

One star is generous. Composite door doesn't match the frame colour. Have waited around 6 months and have taken days of work on 4 occasions for a new door to be fitted, but they never turn up and each time they blame it on lack of parts or 'it's the factories fault'. I was also mis-sold the fire escape windows. Complaints procedure doesn't exist, they tell you a complaint is logged, but you never hear anything about it. And if you ask to speak to a department, they say they can't put you through but they'll call back, and you never hear back from them. I bought from Safestyle because I was led to believe I wouldn't have to deal with these issues. Damn I was wrong. I will never buy from this circus of a company again and will always encourage anyone to buy anywhere but here.

“Beware”

★☆☆☆☆

written by MrPoy on 25/09/2023

22 windows, some coloured and leaded plus front door and porch. Simple? No! First the scaffolders destroyed several roof tiles. Then they turned up, swearing, smoking and seemingly intent on destroying carpets and a new slate dining table with velvet chairs. I kid you not. They played rave music at full volume despite being told to tone it down. The Warrington and Bradford office were never helpful until our lawyer got involved. The first inspection found that some of the ‘windows’ coils easily be removed from outside, posing a security risk. They weren’t fitted correctly and let the elements into the house and oops! no lead or colour in the glass that we paid fortunes for. They sent a repair man next day to remove the ground floor windows and fix them securely. He declared that all of them needed replacing. Next day they sent a ‘surveyor’. He inspected and found that every window was wrongly fitted, the porch was unstable and it required “ 3 days work to put right”. We await their “field inspector” tomorrow. It’s been a stressful, horrific week. Don’t let these people loose on your property.

“Shambles”

★★☆☆☆

written by MichelleMa on 20/09/2023

Had 1 fitter to fit 5 windows. No safety catches on upstairs windows. Downstairs window leaked. Downstairs windows not finished correctly. 3 engineers and 3 months later, still waiting for the problems to be resolved, customer services are not helpful at all. Made a written complaint, waste of time, looked like an automated reply. Would I call them the number 1 window and door company in the UK? What do you think? If someone from Safestyle is reading this, your customer service needs to be improved, 6 weeks for an engineer is not acceptable. If I could send the windows back I would.

A truly excellent service from start to finish! From the moment we asked for a quote to the time the installation was completed we were extremely impressed by all staff involved in terms of communication and professionalism. The gentleman who fitted the door went above and beyond to be helpful and the door looks amazing! What can we say other than the whole thing was a great customer experience. Thank you Safestyle!

“Awful quality, look and finishing”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Rowan18 on 26/08/2023

I’m waiting for my fourth door to arrive as all others have been disgusting quality. The glue/putty used around the panes in the front door is lumpy, has gaps in places and has been smeared on with no care whatsoever. Still without the door after 5 weeks from first install and still waiting for a manager to call me back.

“Absolutely Disgraceful”

★☆☆☆☆

written by CamrynGarrison on 17/08/2023

13 windows and 3 doors fitted by Safestyle! All windows and doors left with large chunks of smashed rendering, resulting in all windows being open to the elements. Complained to Customer Services but took nearly a year to send out an Inspection Engineer! The Safestyle Engineer slated his own companies work stating in his report 'ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS RENDER BLOWN AND NOT PUT BACK' Also 'INTERNAL GARAGE JUST FILLED WITH SILICONE, SHOULD HAVE BEEN TRIMMED AND SEALED, INTERNAL KITCHEN WINDOW PLASTER BLOWN AND STUCK BACK UP WITH SILICON' 2 X LOUNGE WINDOWS WRONG SIZECAND LARGE GAP JUST FILLED WITH FOAM' My local builders have since found two upstairs windows were not fitted straight and have had to reposition them. Furthermore the builders pointed out that an upstairs front window does not match any of the other windows, with the window sill also not being straight! I live by myself and have been through a nightmare because of Safestyle, plus having to rectify the damage to my property has cost me thousands of pounds!

I think this would invalidate the guarantee. I’ve just had blinds fitted to my windows. No drilling. I think they’re called perfect fit. Hillary’s blinds did ours but my husband watched him fit them and said he could’ve done them at 1/3 of the price with blinds to go.

Presumably because successful selling rakes in the money and profit, whereas making good on after-sales service, such as rectifying any faults or even sending window keys by post as promised (we have one key for the two rooms fitted with new windows upstairs and one for the two rooms downstairs, the others having got lost somehow), costs money. We were promised a 'surveyor' would inspect the work, but the person who kept the appointment turned out to be another salesman. I'll go back to using the local firm for any future work.

I had a front door fitted which was very good but part of the order the door should have had a chain and spy hole on it which was missing. My other half phoned up to complain and they told it was going to be a month to get them fitted. I phoned them back to tell them that so not good enough and I get it fitted within 2 weeks. When it came to having the rest of the house fitted I used a different company that was a lot cheaper. The quality was spot on and customer service was a lot better. It was a lot smaller company and I would say I have been turned off ever using safestyle again.

When the salesman came to see us, he spoke very highly of their fitting teams and after sales service. When the fitters came, they did a great job, but the obscured glass they brought was not what we had told the salesman we wanted. They indicated that was a frequent occurrence, with salesmen selecting the wrong glass on their computers but, not to worry, they'd notified the company and we would be contacted to get them changed to the correct glass. There was no contact, so rang them. I had several conversations with their after sales people, gradually escalating my call to higher levels in their organisation. They never rang me back when promised, I always had to ring them, explain why I was calling and argue, yet again, that the mistake was theirs, before I eventually got to speak to someone who told me he was the manager. They always refused point blank to contact the fitters, to ask them what had been said and to ask to whom they had spoken and it transpired that the fitters are not employees of Safestyle, as the salesman had told us, they are sub contractors, so they couldn't contact them. Eventually, however, they contacted the Installation Department, who did have a record of the call regarding the glass from the fitter and did have a record that they had investigated and found that we were right, so that the After Sales people conceded and made arrangements to get the glass changed. When the chap came to change the glass, he was surly and refused to adjust the new front door, on which the hinges squeak and which requires rather more force than it should, to close the locking mechanism. Their After Sales people need to understand better how to deal with customers.

Afternoon I had rosewood windows fitted by an excellent company, but not a bay window - however I have asked the question of them and their response is: It is not necessarily wrong as the 'strips between each bay window' may be the poles which support whatever is above the bay window. However my installer said he would have considered the aesthetic finish for the customer and ensured the strips were rosewood so that there was no glaringly obvious difference. When I told my contact the installer was Safestyle he said you could point out your dis-satisfaction to them but they may or may not respond. Hope this helps

Afternoon We had a bi fold door fitted by Safestyle - whilst the engineering of the door is good, the glazing was a real problem and had to be rectified by cloudy to clear as Safestyle were not helpful. Our bi fold door is internal - dining room into conservatory so it doesn't matter if the door does not lock (which it doesn't) when my wrists are trying to lock it - however my husband can get the lock to work. I would never use Safestyle again - we are having another bi fold door fitted by another contractor - this time to the outside - anyway they are cheaper than Safestyle. Regards

I am getting fed up with being fobbed off,I need something done about it. the repair man has been out 4 times now since they where fitted in 2014. Please can you advise?

They are the worst of the worst as far as suppliers go and they don't deserve to be in business. If you wait for them to sort the problms you are having you will wait a long, long time. Try and find an reliable local supplier and just accept that you'll have to pay.

If you bought the doors/ Windows o finance you are within your rights to stop payments if your still paying. Contact the finance company first though and hopefully they can contact safestyle and rectify the issue. But in the meantime let everyone know that safestyle are bad !!

We had new double French doors put in but we’ve had no problem with key or lock up to now and it’s a year ago. It is a bit stiff but the more we use it the better it gets. Sorry couldn’t be more helpful. Have you tried some WD40 on it. We have been very satisfied with all our windows and doors and will be having them back for our extension.

I would use their faceboook page to underline the poor to non existent customer service you are experiencing and then find out from a local firm the cost to put it right. Then you write to Safestyle and tell them you will pursue them in the Small Claims Court for someone else to put the fault right. If they have a review site use that as well - its amazing what a little bad publicity can do! It is very easy to use the local Court to claim money back and they give you Court costs and inconvenience payment too!

We had a lot of trouble with Safestyle - firstly the glazing units were defective and the unhelpful personnel caused us to obtain a quote from a reputable company who replaced the glass and we did get the money from Safestyle. Our bi fold door is between the dining room and conservatory so not a problem with security but if my husband locks the door I cannot open it as it appears it has dropped - good luck they are second worst to Wren Kitchens - be sure you never go to that bunch. Best of luck

It isn't possible to clean the outside of the window easily from inside unless you have tilt & turn or sliding sash windows. Standard casements won't allow a large enough gap to clean the external of the opening pane, unless it's a small opener and you have long arms maybe.

We have had the sash style of windows fitted by Safe Style, and we are very happy with the quality and the safety features of the windows. We also live in a conservation area and had no problems with the local conservation officials. Sorry I cannot give you any advice about your stained glass.
Report this content SafestyleUK Written on: 29/06/2017
Hi, it's a difficult question to answer as it depends on the stipulation of the conservation area. Safestyle have a glass processing plant that can reproduce custom glazing designs onto a double glazed unit. However the frame of the sash window will be a modern UPVC frame in one of the 6 finishes currently available. Features such as sash horns and specific handle finishes can also be selected. I would speak to the conservation people first and then make a decision based on their stipulation about the frame material and if the style has to be an exact match. Regards Jonny Digital Team

Yes it is. You're wanting a Composite Door which Safestyle sell. Our front door, installed last year by Safestyle is a Composite Door. White on the inside, and a light green on the outside .. Looks so much better than a playing white door!

Yes it is and we had them installed, blue on the outside and white on the inside. These are composite doors which are usually more expensive than standard PVC but look much better. I suggest getting a few quotes from local suppliers rather than from known ones such as Everest, Anglian or SafeStyle. They all advertise as 50% off etc. but the truth is that you are not saving anything, you are actually being overcharged compared to what it's worth. I got quotes from them all to have all windows replaced and they all use the same trick, the initial quote is huge to start with (mine was £23k for just a few windows), then if you say that it's too expensive or you need to think about it, they will pretend that they will try to get more discount and so on. In the end they dropped from £23 to £9k !!! As a rule I don't buy from people who try ripping you off. I got my composite door installed by a local company for around £900, Safestyle's cheapest quote was £1600 and that's after 50% discount. Also, they keep calling and asking me if I still need new windows installed even though I've told them numerous times that I'm not interested.
Report this content Rekz7 Written on: 29/03/2017
I'm sure it would be possible....I guess the only way to know for sure is to ask the question and let them know exactly what you require, if it is possible then it's a plus and you will find they are very pleasant and friendly and will guide you in the right direction. Hope this helps.
Report this content SafestyleUK Written on: 05/04/2017
Yes both UPVC and composite doors can be specified white on the inside. Most of the composites are white on the inside unless you request a colour match. Frames can also be specified this way doors and on windows if you'd prefer a different colour/finish internally to externally.

They rang through to find out where they'd be the next day, but found that they had no work. I asked if they'd be paid OK and they said that they were self employed on piece work, which was why they finished our job so quickly.

My door, of which Safestyle told me was of the highest quality, has been replaced. This was due to the door warping in the heat of the sun (my wife could not then lock it); something that used to happen with composite doors when they first appeared but not now on the "highest quality" doors. The new door warps but not enough to have them replace it under their warranty. Go with a local firm as it will be cheaper and at least the same quality (could not be worse) if not better.

I have had endless problems with the front door which was not sealing and it wasn't straight in its frame. After the seventh or eighth engineer came they all came to swap the seals. (The seals were swapped after the second visit) the last two engineers said the whole door and frame need refitting!. Customer service say the installers will call you. I had them fitted in January 2015 and I used to call weekly but no one returned the call I then had one call asking if the door needed adjusting I explained the problem and he said we will get it sorted. but no one has bothered to call me I have just moved house and I won't be calling Safestyle again!!

They have caused nothing but distress, I have a legal case pending on the matter. They have very cheap quality windows and very poor craftsmanship, poor installation as my windows need all removing and replaced which is what we are waiting for. They have not improved at all since I heard they were on Watchdog. Its a shame that I had discovered that they had been on Watchdog after my installation otherwise I would definitely not have placed an order with them. Words alone cannot explain the regret we having turned to them for our windows. I also would not trust the positive reviews as i found another website with numerous complaints, all of which were undergoing the same issues that we continue to endure....Please spare yourself from unnecessary stress, time wasting but most of all, save yourself from throwing your money on a bad company!

I had them install a front door. It cost over the odds and they try to get you to have a finance deal which costs £2 for every £1 so a £1000 door would cost £3000 with the finance deal. There are many local glazing firms that would be at least 25% cheaper for the same product. The after sales people will keep ringing you 2-3 times a week on the pretence of checking the order but they are selling more stuff; even if you tell them no they keep ringing. AVOID AT ALL COST

I was given choices for cheaper one's but chose the one I know I would be happy with. I have had dealings with Safe Style for a number of years and have been very happy with the service and also their quality control call back ( which impressed me) From a personal point of view and my experiences I would recommend Safe Style and have not had any problems. The front door looks fab and more than happy with it two years on. I had windows and patio doors fitted 15 yrs on they still look great. Every company has problems it is how they handle them that is the winner. Safe Style call back checked if I was happy with the work and product if I wasn't they would address it . Now that was impressive :)

I have to say that our experience with SafeStyle was first class the customer service was beyond question - in our case- they ensured we we kept aware of the delivery , made sure the installers were onsite and had covered the carpet , left no mess and after installation followed up on several occasions to ensure we were happy. The quality and price was the icing on the cake - we couldn't believe the price. Because of this we then ordered a new back door - so for us we felt Safestyle were unbeatable.

I have had 2 problems following installation of 6 windows, a front door and a *stable" door. The first was with the lock on the stable door being stiff and the second with all the exterior trims lifting from the surrounds. An engineer came and sorted the lock and it was he who inspected the trims and arranged the next call. Two guys came, removed the trims and reset them. There has been no problem since. I am very happy with the work they did (which included installing lintels over windows and doors) and their subsequent customer service. The price for the porch seems reasonable depending on the type of door fitted. A "Guardian" door will cost that on its own so check which type theyhave included in their quote.
