Just doing the rounds recommending people not to buy this phone. I've lost count of the times I've had to call people back from another phone because I can't get any reception on this useless phone. May look smart but ain't no point in that if you can't use the damn thing. Walk on by and get a different make (read more)

I got the LG Chocolate phone on contract as the adverts made it look really good, and it was the newest phone out so I thought why not?!
6 months later it is already broken and i need a new phone!
The screen is so dodgy and freezes all the time, the keypad can be non responsive which is annoying because both the 'OK' buttons are on it. Meaning if you get a text you sometimes cant read them. The battery life is awful. If you charge it for a whole night, you can guarantee it will only last 2... (read more)

Looks fantastic and the Mp3 remote with 3.5mm jack input is pretty handy, but the LG Chocolate phone is just so impractical, the problem isn't to do with the menus, they're OK, it's just so rubbish! There's no loud speaker, you can not dial a number that you want to store while you are on the phone. The phone gets dirty so easy, it's a joke! Also I have found the phone never gets a signal, even though other phones in the same area do! Main problem - I have never had a phone with worse... (read more)

I think the hype leading up to the LG Chocolate phone was worth it! It looks amazing and the features are pretty good and as long you charge the battery every other day, it's fine. Overall I'm a proud owner of the LG Chocolate. (read more)

I don't know what the big fuss is about this LG Chocolate Mobile. I got it on Sunday and I absolutely hate it. I had to return my first one cause it kept doing things itself because the touch sensitive screen is so sensitive, so I get the phone and guess what? Exact same problem. It will just be sitting next to me and will suddenly open the phone book and start scrolling down it.
Also it never gets a signal in my house, meaning it basically just becomes a fancy camera that takes photos... (read more)

The Screen on my LG Chocolate has an amazing plasma like quality to it and the videos you can play on it are great and pretty cheap. The MP3 player has excellent sound quality and you can buy but don't need headphones for it. The look is very sleek and will wow people when they see you walk by with it. Unfortunately, the reception is one of the worst. If there are even just a few trees or mountains around, you aren't going to get much of a reception. Hopefully this phone will expand to other... I love the LG Chocolate mobile phone. I got it last week and cannot stop playing with it. I will admit it is a girlie phone, and I think it is so sexy to look at. It is lightweight, and I love the suede pouch to keep it in, and the little cleaner attached as a hand strap. The camera seems better than my last phone, which was the Sony Ericsson K750i. It has a flash, sepia and black and white.
The only bad point is the fact that it does not have radio, although it does have an MP3 player.
I... (read more)

If you are given an LG Chocolate mobile phone, as I was, sell it on Ebay. Because it is so popular you should get £300 for it. It is a very over-hyped piece of technology. (read more)

The LG Chocolate mobile phone is all about the style. The Chocolate makes calls, sends SMS, makes a satisfactory effort at the standard suite of multimedia features expected these days, but most of all, it makes every other phone on the market, bar perhaps the Nokia 8800, look tacky. Unlike the 8800 though, it is very affordable.
Quite simply, appearance-wise, I can not pick fault with the Chocolate. It has two well-implemented innovations in a virtually invisible screen and... (read more)

I really liked the LG Chocolate mobile phone, but after trying to utilize all the features I get frustrated trying to make the phone usable now. If mobile phone companies want to make great phones, at least let us upgrade the memory and personalise even basic features, like the fact that I don't want T9 to be the default when writing a text message, so let me personalise that and other basic features. Thank you. (read more)

I loved the LG Chocolate mobile phone for the first few days, and although it's by far the best looking phone I've had, I'm returning it today (after 13 days).
An unresponsive keypad means I end up back-spacing and re-typing every third word. It also makes deleting voicemails or anything where you need to enter numbers (credit card payments etc.) annoying.
- Dictionary originally seemed good, but in the last couple of days it has lost all my words and some I have re-entered... (read more)
