Ok, so great their Computer Planet website is easy to use so i order my £900 system, and notice that the delivery is 6-9 days. Three weeks later my SYSTEM HAS NOT EVEN BEGAN BUILDING. So much for the build and deliver to your door by roughly 9 days. THREE WEEKS ON AND NOT EVEN A BUILD START. I found this review helpful because... I'm looking for a new PC after giving up the one i got from Computer Planet and this review shows me that Computer Planet have not changed at all and i will definitely look for a supplier with a better reputation next time.

The graphics card was faulty when it arrived, it had red lines across the screen. Shouldn't their extensive testing have picked this up? But I have not even said anything to them because I believe they will probably blame the courier

Completely useless customer service, numerous items missing from the delivery e.g. Driver disks, Monitor supplied was lower specification than the Monitor ordered. Keyboard supplied was faulty despite Computer Planets Quality Control process. When refunds requested for sub standard Monitor and Fault Keyboard, price refunded was considerably less than I was charged to the tune of £60.

** UPDATE**
<br/>Day 3 and its already turning into a fiasco. COMPUTERPLANET have taken payment for an order which was cancelled (&pound;1300+) in addition to my new order (&pound;1600+). Even worse they have charged 2 payments of approx &pound;50 in total for NO apparent reason at all. Add to this the fun of having my current outstanding order being delayed due to (in their words) a part which probably is in stock but needs to be booked in! If the lovely helpful chap from COMPUTERPLANET is reading this i would be delighted to hear from you.

its now been over 2 weeks and no pc has yet arrived. The money for the original cancelled order was credited after i chased them up. I have had emails detailing what has been happening to my order but in all honesty i do feel these may not be entirely true. I see they GUARANTEE delivery before xmas if ordered before dec 16th...well i ordered mine over 2 weeks ago and according to their own website my order still has loads of testing/quality control to be performed so i doubt even i will get my order before xmas. I am happy to leave it until the next week before i contact credit card company to explain why i wont be paying! updates to follow!

PC from Computer Planet took much too long to build, considering what I wanted was a fairly basic system, but it was within the timeframe advertised. However the problems really started when it arrived.
First the monitor plug was a European one, not a UK one. Thankfully, I had an adaptor lying around, otherwise I would have had to buy one.
Then I discovered that the promised Windows XP disks were NOT included, despite the original disks being advertised as part of the package I bought.

2 PCs ordered 29 July, 1st one delivered eventually on 13th Aug without the monitor and keyboard, invoice and confirmation email both included these items. 2nd PC ready for delivery by 18th Aug also apparently without the monitor and keyboard and Computer Planet agreed to hold the delivery until the issue was resolved. We are sorry about this. It was a technical issue on our website which offered a monitor at &pound;0.00 for 5 minutes during a website update. You placed the order and selected this item. Due to it being a technical error it did not show on any part of your order apart from the confirmation email. A full refund was issued and we are sorry for the hassle caused. The technical issue has been fixed and will not happen again.

Good website, all the parts came as specified, came on time, came with a foreign power cable which i mentioned to them but didn't mind because i had a spare they then sent me a uk cable the very next day, even though i said i had the computer up and running.

Once I received them I checked my pc immediately and it appears to be still broken. They have said they will not fix it because it is out of the warranty period. I imagine they must get some working PC's out but it certainly wasn't mine. It took six weeks to deliver (and lasted 20 minutes!). They may be the least expensive but I feel I didn't even get what I paid for. My base unit hasn't worked since I received it and they seem to have dragged out the support and excuses ever since. I've spent more time re-installing and patching than I've ever had it working and it still doesn't work. Get your machine somewhere with a better reputation.

Their website says delivery in 7 days so I happily placed my order. Despite charging my card as soon as the order was received it actually took 25 days for the computer to get to me. And once I did eventually get it it stopped working after just 6 hours of use. I contacted them and told them I was rejecting the goods as it was unfit for it's intended purpose and I wanted a full refund of the purchase price. This review is incorrect. The customer had agreed with us that the PC would be collected to be replaced if it was faulty. The goods were collected from the customer at no cost to the customer. Upon returning the goods back to the customer they then rejected the goods back which were not faulty. Our service includes a free 28 day collect and return with every PC sold.

You say you have a 28 day return policy, I do not believe this, the delivery of my PC was delayed. I got the PC, switched it on. Didn't work. Contacted you guys and you said sorry, your 28 days is up and NO I wasn't offered a refund!
