I upgraded from a Winchester to a Gamo Hunter 440 air rifle. Straight out of the box, I could tell by the way it handled, I would be using it for those necessary "surgical strikes" on squirrels. Head shots were accurate from distances of about 35 yards out. Starling plinking was without a doubt, on ...

I purchased the Gamo hunter 440 air rifle in a gun shop. I am very pleased with it. It is a pleasure to use and fun. I enjoy target shooting without bothering the neighbours. It is also quite capable of taking care of gophers. It is a smooth shooter and consistently accurate.

The GAMO hunter 440 air rifle in my opinion is an excellent airgun for the price. It came straight out of the box shooting .20 in. groups at 30 yards with the iron sights.
