I have bought a Falcon Raptor skeleton 0.177 FAC version air rifle. Overall impression of the gun is good. It has the power and accuracy I was expecting. However handling the bolt loading mechanism feels terrible. All internal surfaces are very rough and the bolt isn't actually sliding very well. The bolt slot surface is so rough it actually grinds the brass bolt I have ordered as an accessory. Leaving permanent marks on the bolt handle.
I highly recommend to check out a particular sample in... (read more)

You'll notice from the bad points I listed that it's pretty hard to find anything wrong with the Falcon FN19 Raptor Mk2 Skelton air rifle. Just convenience and cosmetic things (which are easily fixed). My rifle is in .22 caliber and is an export (to the USA) model. It will fire a 21 gr Beeman Kodiak pellet at 890 ft/sec. I can smash clay pidgeons at 100 yards (although I keep it on constant fill for that). I used to shoot for the State of Connecticut Highpower Rifle team and let me tell you... (read more)

I purchased the Raptor Lighthunter air rifle. As mentioned by others it is a sexy looking piece of kit, but that isn't everything. To be honest the salesman @ uttings did a good job on me (and being a salesman myself I am easily suckered) and I didn't need anything like this. I am new to air rifles and completely ignored all sensible advice about looking around and went straight out and purchased the Lighthunter, logun lamp and Simmons Super Nightview sights!!! "Crazy Fool" you shout. Hell... (read more)

I have a .22 Falcon Raptor MK2 "FN19RS".
These things leave Birmingham in England set at approx 10.5 Foot LBS using an 185bar fill and Bisley Magnum Pellets.
My rifle was chrono'd and was on average 10.8 FT LBS.
I decided to increase the power to as near as 12FT LBS (English Max, Bah its the Law!) and I couldn't get much past 11.4. Performing this tweak had knock on effects: The cocking bolt needing adjusting as did the spindle that holds the 8 shot multi mag in place.
Although this was a... (read more)

The .177 Falcon F19 Raptor Mk2 air rifle, with walnut skelton stock, is a fine looking weapon.
Unfortunatly for me, my particular gun came to me with the action incorrectly mounted in the stock (it was twisted to one side) and the barrel was actualy bent to the left due to the front barrel support being fitted off-center. This gave shot gun like accuracy.
Both these faults were easily corrected in about 2 minutes once I had noticed them!
Assembly quality aside, the components of the gun are... (read more)
