I've been flying quite a bit and had my best experience with Emirates so far.
The leg from Frankfurt to Dubai was on a fully booked Boeing 777 but then the leg from Dubai to Sydney and Auckland was wonderful!

Emirates have recently started a direct daily service from Glasgow to Dubai. Having previously had to use the Manchester to Dubai direct service (very much in preference over BA!), thought I would give it a go.

We booked Emirates business class seats because we had a fairly hectic schedule and needed to sleep on the flights, especially the flight coming home. The service on board the plane is very average. Emirates doesn't treat economy passengers as well as the competitor airlines. Its hub is Dubai which is not very convenient for long haul to Australasia as it is only 6 hours from London.
