Matchmoor is a must place to begin and learn how to ride, i would recommend
this school to everyone. I learn't how to ride here when i was 13 and still go now for the occassional lesson with Jen. i now have my own
horse but still enjoy visting this place.
I now take my neice who is 8 and she loves and enjoys this place as much as i did.
10/10 for enjoy-ability, service and facilities… Read Full Review

Last Sunday, I couldn't go because the rings were completely frozen over and my mum was scared about the horses spooking and me falling and breaking something (for the first time in my life!). There are a few critisms though:
1. Road towards the school is awfully bumpy and worn away.
2. Ground towards the barns, top ring, little school and back yard is terribly muddy on bad days.

the center offers 1/2hr stable management lessons where you can learn this and 1 day or 3 day courses where you look after the same pony and ride it 2hrs daily.

I am just about to finish my work experience which i have been doing at matchmoor for two weeks, It has been the best two weeks of my life and im never going to forget it.

The staff are so friendly and outgoing, but most of all they are great teachers because i steped into an environment which i have never been in and im walking out an expect.

I think my biggest achievement was on my second lesson i was able to canter which was really fun to do. So i would say to anyone go along and visit, i… Read Full Review

I've been going to Matchmoor Riding centre for 3 years now and enjoy going for lessons there. The staff try their best to put people on suitable horses. Although sometimes I've noticed the horses need a good muckout, it cant be helped as there are so many horses there, giving a range of horses to ride… Read Full Review
