I own a lot of cotton;I hate ironing, so watching the demo at the PNE was pretty enticing. It's a huge investment in an appliance, so I waited until the next PNE,watched the pitch again, and layed my money down.
It does take the tedium out of ironing. However, the reviewers who say it doesn't last long are correct - it is very irritating how quickly it 'runs out of steam'...literally and figuratively. The demonstrators misrepresent the product in this regard - watch, and you will notice they… Read Full Review

Absolutely the best money I've ever spent! If you use this iron at the highest setting, with steam, it will be the best iron you've ever had. I never have to worry about wrinkled cotton clothing. This iron takes the worry away. It gets the job done. No scorching, shining, or ruining even your most delicate items. Customer service has been wonderful. I hope to always own this iron… Read Full Review

Do NOT waste your money on this piece of garbage (Euro Steam Evolution Steam Iron). I bought this item at the Home Show and got misled by the demonstrator. She assured me that the water would last in the iron for 1.5 hours. Are you kidding me?!?! You'd be lucky to finish ironing one shirt before needing to refill again. When you read the fine print it says "keep the iron on no steam to preserve water". Well thanks - why don't I just use my regular $69.99 iron from The Bay then if I want… Read Full Review

Bought this iron and plugged it in. Waited for it to heat up and picked up iron to try ironing a piece of fabric. The handle was extremely hot causing burns to hand. Took it back. Two other irons were also purchased by friends and both went back one due to the same problem and the other because steam could not be controlled… Read Full Review

Piece of garbage, I always read up reviews on items before I purchase but got caught off guard at a home show. I would not reccomend this product to anyone and let them know that when I saw them at this years home show. I wear a lot of linen so thought this steam iron was the answer, I should have saved my 200 plus $$ and stuck with my $29.00 iron from walmart. Do not purchase this iron, it is always out of water because it blasts so much steam on your clothes they need to go back in the dryer… Read Full Review

I have received the absolute WORST Customer Service from this company. The are rude, inflexible and do not stand behind their product. I would never recommend this product to anyone looking to purchase a very expensive iron which does not last within its warranty period. Save yourselves money and buy a different iron. I have tried everything to clean the iron internally and with limited use during my ownership this iron no longer produces any steam and is useless without this feature. The… Read Full Review

This is the worst iron I have ever owned. It is highly misrepresented at the county fairs where it is sold. It leaks all the time. Taked forever ro heat and uses tones of water. I have tried using the push button on the top to save water...doesn't save a drop. You have to fill it constantly. I feel like I wasted my money and if I oculd return it for a partial refund, it would be shipped tomorrow. I have had it about three months. DON'T BUY IT~… Read Full Review

The steam runs out quickly and has to be refilled often, whick can be dangerous if the iron is hot. I really like the fact it doesn't scorch or burn. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped mine and can't find a customer service number anywhere to see if it can be repaired. Would appreciate anyone that could help me… Read Full Review

We bought this iron 2 years ago and it just stopped working. Does anyone know where we can get it repaired. It was too expensive to put in the trash.
I tried researching the manufacturer but was unable to get any information.
If you have this information please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org

I wouldn't take another one of these irons if they gave it to me. I paid $200 plus shipping for this iron and I have never been so disappointed in anything for a long time. The steam gets hot but the iron itself doesn't stay hot enough to do a good job of ironing jeans and cottons… Read Full Review

I am very surprised by the negative reports of the Redfern Eurosteam iron. I absolutely love it!!
My husband has "shined" more shirts and microfiber shorts than I care to count!!! No more with this iron!! You can't burn or shine anything! Fabulous!
A couple of suggestions: 1) Don't over fill. Period. 2)After you have finished ironing - turn the dial wide open and let the steam empty the tank. Then, you can refill and have it ready for next time. 3) I sometimes empty the tank (after it… Read Full Review

I purchased the Redfern iron at a home show. It worked fine for the first few months then afterwards it didn't seem to work at all. I called customer service, the service was poor and they seemed clueless. There are no repair shops in Toronto for the Redfern iron according to customer service. I was told I had to send the iron to them in Calgary and $45 dollars for repairs. Living in Toronto, I would have to pay for the shipping charges, $45 dollars for the repair and have no iron for 2… Read Full Review

If you buy this at a home show or other live event, pay close attention to how many irons are available for demo. You will never see them run out of steam - the most negative feature of this product. Steam does not last long enough between refills to make this a practicle iron. Refilling while the iron is still hot requires careful steps and is very dangerous. The time saved ironing is offset by the frequency of refilling water tank. And don't even think of over filling! Water will squirt… Read Full Review

This is the BEST iron I've ever owned, and I've owned many! It has never burned anything and it gets all the seams and pieces to my quilts flat! And they stay flat. Other irons get the fabrics semi flat, and then after a while the fabrics puff back up again. This doesn't happen with the Redfern Euro Steam. I recommend it to all my customers, friends and students… Read Full Review

I have a Redfern Eurosteam iron and did like the way it performed but whatever you do don't drop it ....mine fell off the ironing board onto the floor(cushion floor) accidently and the inside of the iron fell apart,,there was an weird material that came through the water spout and the iron did not work at all.
I was very disappointed because I have dropped irons before and they always continued to work without any problems… Read Full Review
