Have owned my Eurosteam for 6 yrs, sending it in for a minor repair now. I'm also going to purchase a second one in case this ever happens again. I despise ironing but this iron makes it so much easier. For those of you who dislike it, you must be doing something wrong.

I just bought this iron at the Vancouver Design Show, and it seemed to work at the show, but the one I brought home is a different story.
I bought it to use it vertically and iron hanging clothes. Even on its strongest setting, the iron is not efficient, and does not take care of more than half the wrinkles.
After I steamed my shirts, I had to lay them on the ironing table, and iron them the normal way; which my $20 iron did just as good.
Overall, a total waste of money!… Read Full Review

I bought this iron from a home show on January 28, 2006. I have loved it! It just now stopped working correctly - not sure why yet. But the fact that it can be used on all fabrics - even the most delicate - with no fear of burning, melting or krinkling makes it worth the extra cost. I'm going to another home show tomorrow to get a new one and then will have the old one repaired for a backup. I'm lost without it!… Read Full Review

Bought the iron at the fair after other users came by and raved about how wonderful it was. It was great for about 2 months--quick, effective, easy-- and then started spewing water instead of steam and soaking the clothes. I went through the cleaning process twice. Then, the clothes smelled like vinegar and after one use, water spewed again. Could never locate a repair facility. Went back to my Rowenta. I wish it worked because it was great when it did. But, not worth $300 for 2 months!… Read Full Review

I too bought this iron at a home show and bought their pitch. We do iron around this house. An iron would last about 2 years. Two years passes, iron handle starts getting hot, hotter. Off/on switch burned up! You do have to wait 5 minutes for it to heat up. If you overfill it, waters appears on your garment.Shipping and repairs are yours for a pricey fee($50-60) Just for shipping and problem solving, NO REPAIRS! I will stick to my $50 irons every 2 years. If they have such a GOOD product, stand… Read Full Review

I purchased this Iron at a home and garden show in Edmonton. i was vey impressed with the demonstrations and I had to get my hands on one. I don't like ironing so I thought that this would cut down on the amount of time that I iron. However, this was not really the case.
I found that it takes about the same amount of iron as it takes with my $5 garage sale iron. the problem is that you need to take the time to fold the bottom of fabric so that it is flat so that you can iron both sides and… Read Full Review

At first I when I showed some of my girlfriends this iron I demostrated it incorrectly. Did not have the settings properly set. I now know how to set this iron and I have not looked back since. I now even iron my sheets and pillow cases as it is so effecient. You can iron anything with this iron and not worry about the temperature of it scorching your delicate materials.
One of my best purchases ever I would like one for my other home too!… Read Full Review

This is the Best iron ever. Had mine for years. I'm looking on the web to purchase another one. Cuts ironing time in half. Reduces dry cleaning bill to almost nothing. Gives a professional look to the finished garment. Irons anything!
Those that do not like this iron are not using it correctly. Since I purchased this iron I do more ironing in less time. Table cloths, jeans, evening gowns, silks, cotton work shirts! Its a great iron.I want another iron, my electrical cord is an issue because I… Read Full Review

Have only ever used distilled water so unless it's the bottlers are lying I can't understand where the sediment comes from. No proper manual or support line came with product I bought at fashion trade show. Cleaned with CLR and replaced the O-ring and still have run several times to unplug for fear it was going to explode.Am afraid to use again. Went on-line hoping to find a repair facility when I found this site. If this product actually worked as it did at the trade show would have been great… Read Full Review

I bought this iron from the Shopping Channel and am returning it within their 30 day return period. The iron is first of all heavier than most irons which makes it difficult to use for long periods of time as an upright steamer. My iron's steam system just wouldn't work from the start, the handle started to heat up, and when I tried to turn the iron off with the switch at the back of the iron I was burned by steamed escaping in the wrong direction. A total waste of time, buying this iron… Read Full Review

I bought the Euro Steam Iron from the Ideal Home Exhibition 2010, it was sold by Silver Fern Sales. I took it home, plugged it in and the handle became uncomfortably hot in minutes and the steam came out of the sole plate in a gush and now was as demonstrated at the show. I got in touch with their representative and was told to return the iron and i would receive a refund (£100). I spent £11 returning the iron by registered post, but it has not been accepted by them and at the time of… Read Full Review

I love this iron! Took some practice, but I wouldn't be without it now. It will save us $80/ month on drycleaning, at least. My advice is to not set the iron on continuous steam, or it really wastes a lot and gets the clothes too wet. Turn the steam down and use it manually, like the demonstrators do at the home shows, and it is fabulous. That is the only thing that I can think of that will help those that are so dissatisfied with their purchases. I LOVE IT! ( Not sure about the durability… Read Full Review

The iron worked well for over a year and then the handle became too hot to touch when ironing and now the steam comes out through the pressure cap. The iron is now unusable. The users pamphlet says to contact the authorized dealer for above problems but as yet, I am unable to find a dealer in my region of the US. I have used and maintained the iron as outlined in the user pamphlet… Read Full Review

Re the euro iron -it took a bit of practice but it halved my ironing time once I got the hang of best way to use it. Love that ironing one side does the other also even on jeans. Duvet cover fold in half will do straight through. Dont put steam up full just press button when you need it using only as much pressure as you need for that garment. ie jeans need full but leaving on by the dial means you will use the water too quickly. Must admit wasnt sure at first but now would hate to use… Read Full Review

I would not have any other iron, I wouldn't wste my money on any other iron. I iron almost everything I have, I like the freshness the iron does. I could easily do the demo at the PNE!! As far the water capacity, it depends how much steaming you do, I can usually get away with one tank fill of water… Read Full Review

I own a lot of cotton;I hate ironing, so watching the demo at the PNE was pretty enticing. It's a huge investment in an appliance, so I waited until the next PNE,watched the pitch again, and layed my money down.
It does take the tedium out of ironing. However, the reviewers who say it doesn't last long are correct - it is very irritating how quickly it 'runs out of steam'...literally and figuratively. The demonstrators misrepresent the product in this regard - watch, and you will notice they… Read Full Review

Absolutely the best money I've ever spent! If you use this iron at the highest setting, with steam, it will be the best iron you've ever had. I never have to worry about wrinkled cotton clothing. This iron takes the worry away. It gets the job done. No scorching, shining, or ruining even your most delicate items. Customer service has been wonderful. I hope to always own this iron… Read Full Review

Do NOT waste your money on this piece of garbage (Euro Steam Evolution Steam Iron). I bought this item at the Home Show and got misled by the demonstrator. She assured me that the water would last in the iron for 1.5 hours. Are you kidding me?!?! You'd be lucky to finish ironing one shirt before needing to refill again. When you read the fine print it says "keep the iron on no steam to preserve water". Well thanks - why don't I just use my regular $69.99 iron from The Bay then if I want… Read Full Review
