I have now been a member of first call gb for several years.
In the past i have had 3 breakdowns with problems with my car...

1/ flat tyre

2/ breaks locked

3/ clutch cable snapped

First Call are TERRIBLE. Even though I was a lone female, they left me stranded on a motorway for THREE HOURS. I would never use them again. I don't think they have a very big network of people to pick you up so that's why you end up waiting for hours on end.

I was left stranded 125 miles from home with car at garage waiting for First Call GB Ltd to open next day. The option to your nearest garage is the main one they use so no recovery home!

You get what you pay for! The mechanic and car hire firm that they used were very helpful, but First Call GB were cheap and didn't comply with their t&cs which they quoted at us. Completely unhelpful and unsympathetic. If this is a first class service then I hate to think what a second class is like ...
