We read reviews that this was a noisey Dyson. We found it so at first but soon got used to it. My kids have never been scared of it so it can't be too loud!
I love it. It made my old carpet look great.

I would advise people to buy only a dyson, and nothing else.i have tried them all but no other vacuum cleaner comes any where near a dyson. The Dyson DC07 has excellent suction.easy to use.pipe stretches up stairs.the fact that its bagless is a bonus.

Dyson DC07. Works a lot better than my 3 month old hoover and when my wife had a problem a Dyson engineer came out and sorted it free of charge. Can't get any better than that

I would not recommend the Dyson DC07 vacuum cleaner at it's current price, there are a lot better out there for that kind of money.
If you really want to try a Dyson get a Factory re-manufactured unit and give it a wirl.
My first impression was that, well....I just wasn't impressed, didn't get that ...

Had the DC01 and just snapped handle. Will be looking to get new one! So after looking around, loved my old dyson so decided on the DC07 - the cleaning on carpet is fantastic and still fascinates me how much dirt ends up the the cylinder BUT and it is a massive BUT the noise is tooooo painful, sur ...

In general, we are sorry that we purchased it (DC07 model), and should have just accepted the re-stock fee (penalty) and returned it to the store.----but we just kept thinking that it was us...Now, after 5 years: no it is the Dyson. We recently removed the pre-filter (A) and the don' remove filt ...

I think the Dyson DC07 is an excellent cleaning tool if you were deaf ; the Banshee wail drove both ourselves and our dogs up the wall. The overall design leaves it very prone to failures with far too many joints and seals.

I think the simply way to describe this machine is that it is better at cleaning your floor than cleaning itself.
Cheaper and less designed hoovers don't pick up as much as this chap which may mislead you into thinking you have great performance as pipes and filters don't block so easily as the DC0 ...

I loved the Dyson 01 and bought the 07 when it died and wish I hadn't bothered. It is heavy and the wand attachment is just plain silly. My 07 has just broken (after 4 years). So despite the good suction I woukd not recommend this since the suction also doesn't do too well on surfaces other than car ...
