06 navara 32000k, engine sometimes starts as if its only going on one cyl.it will not take trottle. Can anybody throw any light on this problem as nissan have no idea. Many thanks.

I have a Nissan Navara and it brike down this week. I managed to get it towed to a Nissan dealer for repair. I have been notified that the engine needs replacing at a cost of £6,500.00.
The vehicle in question has 69,000 miles on the clock and has been serviced every 6,000 miles It is only 9 ...

I bought my 03 D22 from a local Nissan dealer with prior knowing all about the engine problems and budgeted to have the problem corrected. First thing I did was have the shells replaced, APR bolts fitted and a proper oil feed fitted. The thing runs great and looks great and I am well pleased.

Bought the car from a garage with a 6 month warranty - I am 8 months in when driving at 60 - catastrophic engine failure due to the Con Rod issue.
6k for a new engine - ha or 2k for a reman that will sound like a bag of spanners?
Let's sue Nissan for continued manufacture and production of an engine ...

My Nissan Navara is a 55 plate with 22000 miles on the clock and other than the diff seals needing replaced, it is a totally awesome vehicle. Would just like to thank everyone who has commented on Nissan Navara & pointed out the many problems with them.
I was on the verge of buying one before stumbling on this website. I shall certainly steer well clear now.

We have a Nissan Navara 02 import from new it has been main dealer serviced at 6k intervals. Trying to over come a fluctuating problem in stereo, Nissan have gone down a few paths but do not seem to know what to do next. Would like any one with a similar prob to post a comment sounds if it drops from stereo to mono.

This is the third and last Nissan Navara that will be bought .. bluetooth and clutch issues on 55 & 06 reg. 3 clutches in 28,000 miles.
