    My personal experiences on Plenty Of Fish. I can't say it worked for me very well.

    My age is 48 and I'm male. I was looking for females in London UK aged 35 to 45.

    The site seems to be full of fake people of one kind or another.

    I tried 2 different methods on this site.

    I am glad I found this forum and that other people have shared my experience with plentyoffish, because up until a few mins ago i was frustrated with the site. I was recently deleted from the site, with the following possible reasons:

    A friend told me about POF a couple months ago. I decided to give it a try so I went to their site, and registered for an account. The account remained open for 2 weeks, then was deleted. I sent an email to their customer service to complain, but got no response. I opened another account... that one ...

    nice starter site plenty of matches dont know if any of them serious or just testing the water but did managed to go on a few dates one led to a relationship but sadly fizzled out!

    POF is pretty rough for guys. The most common complaint from guys I hear and agree with is: women on the site seem to believe they are a couple of notches above what they really are.     I was on POF about 15 months but left earlier this year after they disabled their instant messenger function. Other free sites have that function so I went to them instead.

    POF has quite a range of potential partners. However I feel its size is its own undoing - there are simply too many choices ...
