Buying the correct car seat for your baby or toddler is not just about style. Car seats are broken down into several groups determined by the age and more importantly - weight of the child. Child car seat laws state that children must travel by car in a child car or booster seat, and one that's an appropriate group to their size. So for example, a baby under 9kg would have to travel in a rear facing car seat that is either group 0 or group 0+.
To help you find the best car seat for you; you can search our car seat reviews by group or leading brand to find out what other parents who've tried and tested all the popular models recommend.
Please share your experiences with other parents and tell us about the car seats you've used with your baby, child or toddler by adding reviews.
