Ah the 80s...a time of bad hair, fashion that could send you blind and music that made you yearn for the days of disco! Fortunately, over in Hollywood the 80s were also the era of high concept and big budget film making, and that is why we’re celebrating some of the best 80s films to come out of the era.

Who could forget the best 80s action movies Die Hard and Beverly Hills Cop, wish their childhoods were more like classic teen movies Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club and The Goonies, or looked to the stars for 80s Sci Fi like Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, E.T. or Back to the Future?
