iI have a problem with my nokia 7650. I cant get off writing numbers in my messages sections. I got so annoyed that i went to reset my phone by clicking on:
menu > tools > settings > phone > general
whenever i select it, i get the following error message and it returns to tools menu

CONE 14
please can n e one help me?

I too have developed the same problem yesterday!!!! i tried to reset my phone and the same message come up, ive had the phone about 5 months now. its on the vodafone network form dial-a-phone. After about 25 mins on the phone to singlepoint they referred me to dial-a-phone who were not very helpful and said they will send me a repair form this friday and it should take 48 hours to fix. If anyone has any more details on this then please email me...

Hello chaps, me again. After going on differnent forums i found that typing in *#7370# will reset ur phone back to factory settings and cure the problem!!!!!!!!!

when u press abc select number mode, u can type in number, when u press abc again and select alpha mode, what happens, why cant u select alpha mode? and is the dictionary activated?

the ABC button didn't work either. It all just happened one day out of the blue for no reason. It wouldnt even let me into my phone settings. In turned out the problem was a bug caused by a 'wildskinz' program that i had downloaded onto my phone

I have found the solution and Yes it works with not problems,
The error:

I don’t know why it dose it but I know it kills the ABC Button, it will not type letters only numbers and can not get in to the general menu in phone settings
If you have a IR Adapter for you may want to follow the steps
(if not, justs do step 3)
NOTE: I will not take reasonability for any damge this will do to your phone.
It worked on my nokia 7650 with no problems
1) Use the nokia software and do a full back up of your phone (EVERYTHING)
2) After the backup complete, turn the phone off then back on, till you get the menu with the clock at the top
3) (NOTE: THIS WILL ERASE EVRYTHING ON YOUR PHONE e.g. Pic, Messages, Ringtones)
Enter: *#7370# this is the software reset code for the nokia 7650 it will ask for a lock code (normally: 12345) you may have you wait 1-2 min’s for a full reset
4) When the phone is done, it will restart and it will act like new.
5) Do you use the top click box at the top in option, Then restore you phone
now have a fully Woking nokia 7650 with all your stuff like Ringtones, massages, ect

My phone has totally packed up,you press the on button and it lights up for about 5 seconds then goes off.I have had it 5 months anyone else had this problem?

Hi All ,
I am trying to connect my 7650 to my desktop PC with a data cable, and I am getting an error on the phone "Accessory not supported" I have searched on the net but can't find a fix ..... CAN ANYONE HELP ?? Its driving me crazy !

On my fone which i have had for about 6 months has crashed many times but this time it crashed and left a message in my OUTBOX but i cant delete it. A friend has got the exact same problem which occured 6 months later...i find it annoying because on my stand by screen the sending arrow n tray icon doesnt go away so i dont know if a message has been sent or no. can n e one help pls!?
