Having seen the "Christmas at Beamish" adverts we expected a wonderful time, with lots of decorations and christmas cheer, we got the opposite, half the place was closed, hardly any decorations, a handful fake

Having paid £68 entrance fee for a group of 6 adults and 2 children I expected the "Christmas at Beamish" to be something magical and a day we'd remember - hopw wrong I was! I had to fork out an addition

I visited the London Museum of Docklands quite a while ago when they had the special Jack the Ripper exhibition. This was the only part of the museum which I think is nto very suitable for young children but it

This museum is totally different to the one in London. It's as if they are embarrassed to be showing military history. The decent informative exhibits are few and far between and there are far more anti-war and

Really good place for all ages. No charge free entry you just put donations in the box. I have spent 4 or 5 hours there with my grandson. Every floor has something of interest. Far better than bugs world Alber

At the moment you can get a yearly ticket for beamish open air museum for the same price as a day ticket got to be good value. This is a great day out for all the family
