I have been using the LG GDR-8163B DVD drive for over 2 years now, and it has not given me an ounce of trouble.
I highly recommend it, especially if it is used in conjunction with LG GSA-4163B

My JLMS XJ-HD166s DVD drive turned out to be a waste of money. It won't read any discs (CD or DVD), and Windows XP says it has no transfer rate! It has always made a few weird noises as it struggles to take
