The Geilo hotel is a short walk from the train station. It is also just 5 minutes from the ski lifts. There was bag and bags of snow in Geilo and the skiing conditions were excellent. The ski lifts are well re

The Vestlia Hotel is close to the slopes - but it is over priced. You will get better value downtown in Geilo & then get the free ski bus to the resort every day.

Ustedalen Hotel was very good, would use it again.
Geilo is very quiet, no night life, but resort is good for beginner/intermediate skiing.
No queues when we where there.
Dont even consider going
