Item: Hardys Stamp Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon
Managed to get some recently for about £3.75 - think it was Sainsburys - which in my opinion is a very good price for a truly superior wine.
PS - I never buy wines over £6.

It was the probably the most disappointing wine I've tasted for some years. AND that includes £2.20 per bottle reds from Netto/Aldi/Liddle which I bought one bottle to try. They haven't been very good

Item: Chateau Pech-Latt 2002
Chateau Pech-Latt 2002 has nice layers of spicy ripe fruit with a crisp finish. This organic wine treads lightly on the planet but intensely on the palate!

Delicious on the tongue. Smooth finish. Instant reaction of all 'wow factor'. Colour. Price. Bouquet. Eaglehawk 2006 Merlot.

This is a very poor example of the fine cabernet merlot and a fine example of a cheap poor man's wine. The bouquet is weak and the aftertaste very unsatisfactory, something which can be said on the whole

Overall its nice to drink as a "treat" however with the 30 pound pricetag I feel it is wont reach out to the fields of people it deserves.

I got a bottle of Yarrunga Field Sauvignon in a crate of bottles from The Sunday Times Wine Club. They always seem to pick wines that suit my tastes perfectly, and this was no exception.

Lamberti's Pinot Grigio isn't a patch on their Soave - again, difficult to buy - but any wine with this label is good.
