Tesco 1 Watt LED AA torch.
As mentioned by one of the other reviewers seems to be a 1 Watt torch now instead of 3. Also C cell version is 1 Watt too.

For a tenner you can't go wrong. Bright and runs on AA batteries. Good points - excellent value, very bright, black so looks the part, long life led, Tescos are everywhere.
Bad points - not waterproof exce

Up till now, LED torches have been a let-down; powerful at short range, but the beam just doesn't carry more than a few yards. Then along came LENSER, a German company specialising in LED technology.

I have had many mini may lights...it seems that when one fails, I find my "extras" and piece together a good one. I don't know where all these circuit boards, transformers and fancy swithches are but mine are

Thanks to reviewers below - The best advice I saw: It's not the switch! Change the batteries!

Tesco AA 3W LED torch is very excellent anywhere near as good as i use mine on my my rifle for night shooting as it sends a bright clear beam a good 30-40yrds! for the £10 I paid, it was worth every pen

I really didn't expect this Tesco AA 3W LED torch to be anywhere near as good as it is! I use mine on my my rifle for night shooting as it sends a bright clear beam a good 30-40yrds! for the £10 I paid,

the battery compartment of the Maglite Mini Maglite LED 2 AA 3 Watt got stuck tried everything to unscrew ended up in a vice to get it off now the batterys will not move im not impressed at all as it cost a lot
