It looked to me like the Riviera Hotel in Pula hasn't had a shred of work done to it since the 1940s and maybe earlier, I think the newest thing in the rooms must be the TVs which are circa late '80s. The beds

Item: Bol, Isle of Brac Hotel Kastil
The at the Hotel Kastil in Croatia beds didn't have bugs in them. The restaurant had no salmonella, and the pool was clean.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Hotel Eden in Rovinj, and I could not recommend it highly enough. We had a lovely time there and it is a great place to stay.

Item: Dubrovnik, Hotel Excelsior
The Dubrovnik Hotel Excelsior only deserves a 2 star rating, but charges 5 star prices.
It's in a good location, about 10 minutes walk from the old town. The hotel also has a good sized swimming

We have been to the Grand Hotel Park in Dubrovnic, Croatia twice now. Rooms are comfortable. Food was better the second time. On out first visit it was pre-booked the night before, and we had waiter service,

Hotel Croatia was the best hotel we've stayed in for ages. The surroundings were beautiful the weather was wonderful. Nothing bad to say about this hotel at all.

All hotel rooms overlook the pedestrianised quay, the sea and offshore island. The town is small, compact and busy, but in a pleasant relaxing way. The Golden Horn beach is some fifteen very pleasant minutes
