  I find some comfort in the feedback illustarting exactly my own expewriences with this vile piece of kit. How it ever got to market is beyond me.

  the Spear & Jackson product was ok to use its the after care service thats at fault the bump feed is a waste of time the bump broke and i cant get a replacement from the manufacturor

  No problem with starting or the engine operation of my Ryobi PLT2543Y . Main issue is the line feed or lack of it. No matter what I try I can't get the line to feed out which leaves me taking off the spool ever
