  We didt want a plastic or metal bodied kettle so was really pleased to find this one readily available. But soon the plastic lugs which lock the lid down deformed then stopped working so the steam would escape

  I would not recommend this kettle, the lid is quite stiff and the handle for pulling it off it quite small. The lid get very hot too. The handle of my kettle recently came off...luckily the kettle was not full
