Nectar points are a great idea, you shop in certain places (Sainsbury, BP) and are rewarded with points. Over a period of a year they can add up to a fair amount.

Although using Sainsbury's for the main shopping is more expensive than some stores, at least the Nectar points can be used to offset costs like the Christmas shop! I use my card every time I fill up at the gar

The Nectar Card scheme needs to be closely monitored and if you are not prepared to monitor your points online at nectar.com then you may be missing out.
