  I also have one of these boilers, its just over 2 years old and has packed in over the weekend, it makes an awful noise then trips out. I'm just researching before I have it reparied, I may just have it replace

  Beware of servicing charges (£250 for an 'Ideal' call out) and unreliability of Ideal Icos boilers. Had some trouble with ours. Wouldn't recommend them as a reliable or cost effective boiler.
