I can talk to all my friends when they are on! Its awesome! You can't change your Screen Name font colour and your personal message colour! Well recommend Windows Live Messenger!

I use TM2008 preview4, Tencent's new IM for English speakers designed for businesses. It's fantastic. I like it better than all the other IMs I've tried except Google Talk, which is more of a no frills chat

eBuddy is excellent for me, and it's free which is great considering the abilities it has to offer. www.ebuddy.com lets me chat with my friends from Yahoo and almost any other messaging site.Very cool

- Cannot Sign In to Messenger with a different status other than Online- Does not keep a history of your messages (You have to save them all the time & takes up space on my comp)

The old Windows Messenger had lots of static and webcam was delayed slightly for me, this new version seems to run smooth with lots of new parts to it.

I have used Yahoo Messenger for 4 years now. It's free and you get to use chat and webcam with no loss of quality.
I have only used net to net calls and not net to phone.
The games are not too bad
