I did lots and lots of research before purchasing this Pioneer PDP-436XDE. There were/are lots on the market. This is probably one of the most expensive, but in this case I think you get what you pay

I think Sony Bravia are decent tvs for the money ,I am a bit niffed about the HD connection sockets not working but that could be down to the fact that my teenage son does not pull the connection leads out

Not impressed, the tv was used very occasionally and didn't last 2 years.. This is not the same model number but the feature set is more or less identical.
