If your going to get a taxi they have green ones which are the tourist one which are more expensive and yellow ones that are proper cheap! BUT make sure you agree a price with them before you go anywhere! the

Item: Kololi, Seaview Gardens Hotel
I think the Seaview Gardens Hotel is the best three star hotel in the Gambia, it is very clean and the staff are great. It should be four star really. I will recomend it to anyone.

The Ocean Bay Hotel and Resort is a very good hotel, good location right on beach. Some local shops and restaurants nearby.

Item: Banjul, Kombo Beach Hotel
We have spent two good holidays at Kombo Beach Hotel and all the staff were great really friendly, nothing is to much trouble to them. Rooms are really clean and looked after well.

Not as relaxing as the Bijilo area - clean and comfortable though. Menu is a bit limited but the food is well cooked and presented.Staff are helpful and courteous.The hotel Cape Point is good value

Don't expect to leave the hotel and go for a walk or select any other means of transport other than the green taxis parked outside. It was much better to walk up the road and get one with a yellow stripe
