I did lots and lots of research before purchasing this Pioneer PDP-436XDE. There were/are lots on the market. This is probably one of the most expensive, but in this case I think you get what you pay

Customer service at LG is, without doubt, the worst I have encountered. They clearly have a lot of complaints as they have implemented a system so that Managers will not take escalated complaints. They refuse

Although the Panasonic TH-42PW4B screens are a bit old now we still use them 5 years on and they seem to last forever as they have lost no screen quality. You can pick them up on ebay now for around 3-400

The picture is perfect also the sound. Although sometimes when we turn it on there is no sound so we have to turn it off and start again. Overall, a very good tv for the price
