    Went to Tannochside Depot to buy a cooker and microwave. Display cooker was the only one available but I could buy it. So, I asked for a small discount, not unreasonable I thought, as it was on the shop floor

    Sales was fine; it's the repair that's the problem. Product was out of warranty (just) and Comet's first "mistake" was to claim it was the manufacturer's responsibility. Quoted Sale of Goods Act (SoGA) and they
