  Bruges is lovely - any other time of year. But the market is a waste of time! More so when it's raining and you get pushed and shoved with umbrellas and the rest.

  I had a great time at the market yesterday despite the rain that soaked me through the whole journey. There are many smiley and welcoming faces but unfortunately there are a few stall owners are not as friendly

  Many of the stalls sell similar goods,and can be very expensive,but there are so many it's nice just to browse. The food and drink areas are the best, with a great atmosphere even on a chilly winters afternoon.

  Absolutely superb - was majorly impressed with Manchester and the whole Xmas experience. Very busy at times, but this really only added to the festive spirit.

  There are actually several locations in Munich where there are Christmas Markets, but the main one is certainly the one at Marienplatz. This one is in the heart of the city and in the midst of the main shopping

  Great market, the christmas spirit is something not to miss, the only problem is it doesnt have a late trading license so the fun stops early :( try the german sausages, we also tried croma which was an Italian
