I went to see the beggars opera last Saturday. It was the updated version with a mixed Australian / British cast.The vocals were excellent. The cast is clearly accomplished. The props and stage set

I have seen a preview of 'The Song Of Rhiannon' and it is fantastic, even though I am not normally an opera lover. This is acted entirely by young people but working with a professional director and crew. Very

You see and hear the likes of Anna Netrebko once in a lifetime. If you have not been buy, beg or steal a ticket. Opera needed a fillip and she will be its savior. After the first night, I went home and compare

Nabucco was first performed in 1842. The opera is set in Jerusalem at 600 B.C. The story is set around King Nabucco who keeps the Israelites imprisioned under his strict reign in Jerusalem.
