  i purchased a bt500v in october 2007 it worked ok for about a year then the ear piece fell apart, jabra were very good they sent me a replacement (a bt5020) which was fine for just under a year them the speaker

  The ear loops are easily broken. The Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth headset comes with buds that allow use without the ear loops but the sound quality definitely suffers. But the battery life is great.
