Staff not too in your face - in fact not in sight. Management not over friendly. Didn't expect red carpet treatment but just left room key on reception desk when we left. No-one asked if we had had a good

We think its a bit over priced at around £90 each per night (August) nice for something special, we would like to go more often but for price needs to be 25% less. Friendly staff nothing too much

Lets be right, this hotel will be well suited to the retiring kind but if you are looking for a hotel with good public rooms and some life about it then I think there are plenty of far superior hotels nearby.

Item: Windermere, Cumbria - Nagoya Country House
A lovely place to stay whilst visiting Bowness, welcoming and friendly - we had the jacuzzi room which was a lovely surprise... would definitely recommend! Location and views are fab!

I felt let down by my experience as it was one of my friends who suggested we try the hotel as they really enjoyed there time. I wouldn't advise any of my friends to go there.

Burnside Hotel is a lovely hotel - quiet, comfortable, clean, beautifully kept gardens, friendly helpful staff. Children welcome (with special menu provided).
