    After about 9 months our first Actifry "Fried" and was replaced by Currys, Dec 08. Nov 09 just switched it on to make some low fat chips and it's fried again. I will take it back to Currys tomorrow for a repl

    Good invention but flimsy build.
    Notches from lid break off and lid shows cracks.
    Not easy to get spare parts.

    After only 2 uses, the pin holding the rise/fall basket dropped out. It turns out the plastic pin mounting on the handle had snapped. Also, I would have expected the bowl to be removable for cleaning.

    Basic design fault with Kenwood DF310 lid, refuses to stay closed when fryer is hot. Bought one and thought it was just a problem with that one, swapped for another and have the same problem but worse this time

    I've used this philips hd6161 fryer for 3 yrs on a regular basis. I do not drain the oil in the reservoir between usage, just cleaning basket and limited splatter from casing and panel. Oil heats up reasonabl

    Under engineered. The Tefal ActiFry FZ700015 stirrer broke while washing it. The lid catch melted.
