With OpenOffice.org Impress you can do pretty much everything that you can do with Powerpoint at a fraction of the price, well actually for free. Open Office is a major competitor in my eyes to Microsoft

I liked the software. It does look better than powerpoint. It gives you more options but you must creativity to use it to the full potential. They have some good sample presentation that run on a free player
