  I'd been using PaperPort since version 7. I've got document scans going back 15 years. With XP, I upgraded to v.9 and then v.10. V.10 doesn't work well with VISTA 64, although "it works" but causes registry

  Readiris 12 is a great product to scan in your documents, improve their quality, do full page OCR, simple indexing and even image compression.
