    It did its job only for a month.After that I couldn't get the past of grains as it was. I guess the the blade became blunt. I wouldn't recomond. I am using it as a chopper.

    I bought my first Magimix in the 1970's & loved it, so I was expecting great things from the 5100 I bought to replace it. I wish I hadn't bothered. The safety mechanism between the lid and bowl jams so tightly

    The plastic clip which is fragile broke puttiong the mixer out of use. It is hardly worth replacing the Kenwood bowl for£ 18

    The Magimix 5100 dough blade is not strong enough second one is on its way out.

    If the food bowl is inadvertently over filled it will lift the chipper or grater disc causing the pusher to be damaged underneath. I
