Had it for 4 years now, and it died on me twice. The last time I was warned by the clicking noise it made. Like it was shutting down.

i had 2 freecom tough drives 160 gig both failed
bloody waste of time and no support cant get drivers
why do i have to pay 250 to get my data back

As it says on the tin, the LaCie 500 Little Drive is a portable 500G 2.5inch disk. Mine is the USB2.0/FireWire400 version.

I'm using 2 versions of the LaCie Rugged. the 100GB 7200rpm version (since oct-2007) and the 200GB 5400rpm version (since sept 2008).
