If buying this Brother XL-2120 make sure you have a good guarantee. Auto threader very temperamental and slow speed when using foot pedal could be faster compared to other machines. But still recommend it,

I used my Toyota 21 DES for 30 minutes on plain cotton, and the needle broke twice. The presser foot was lightweight and flimsy. This machine is available for £89 on certain websites (home-sewing.com)
