  Singer 7442 Mechanical Sewing Machine used only about 4 times in 6 months span for very light sewing. called singer, put on hold at least 30 minutes every single time! singer is horrible, horrible, horrible...

  I have used a toyota sewing machine for 8 to 10 years and never had any trouble e.g. needles breaking.
  It is important to use the recommended needles.

  You might as well rip up fifty pound notes. It certainly would not be so frustrating. Your Joys Homemaker machine will spend months in their factory supposedly being repaired.
