  we have just opened this Yorkshire Tea Tea Loaf today[ 3rd sept] a yorkshire tea cake which was dated best before 3rd june. and it was moist and excellent taste, so much for this stupid law imposed on food man

  I think Tesco Finest Date & Walnut cake is delicious. Just had a slice now with a cup of Earl Grey tea, and I was not disappointed and will definitely be adding to my weekly shopping list. Very moist, lovely

  Mr Kipling Manor House Cake is light and crumbly with an even amount of fruit.
  
  I think it could benefit from some malt added to it to give it a malty taste and a darker colour.
