However I've more-or-less given up on this site, it's always the same agencies for the high majority of jobs and they are just not interested in contacting applicants

Have used Leisurejobs for years and cannot fault their speed. CV's are almost always of the right standard and relevance for positions.

Amidst the minefield of job sites I found ujob to be one of the most user friendly. The job search tool is really quick and brings up a list of matching jobs. You dont need to be registered to apply either,

Very quick and accurate search results. Many different search methods, with the refine bar on the left being rather helpful. Millions of jobs on there! I would definitely recommend www.1job.co.uk, definitely

If you are looking for a real job search engine I'd recommend www.check4jobs.com all day long, the site has many strong points and has all the latest employers on there. The site does say its a search engine
