What Is The Future Of Sat Nav?
Galileo, the European Unions and European Space Agency's new satellite navigation system is currently being developed. Galileo is expected to be compatible with next generation sat navs available in 2012. Europe's global satellite navigation system will work alongside the US based GPS system. This partnership is expected to increase accuracy to an absolute pin point. The greater accuracy and reliability of Galileo, especially in built-up areas, should have superb benefits for consumers.
