Verdict of Apple iPod Nano MP3 Player
Overview
- Apple tried to show it's the size that counts when the popular iPod Nano was launched in September 2005.

- The first Nanos, available in black or white, were the size of a business card, operated on flash memory with 4GB version holding 1,000 songs and 2GB version holding 500 songs.
- The Nano features the same 30-pin dock connector as the iPod and iPod Mini, allowing it to fit with accessories, including home stereo speakers and car adapters.
- The Nano has been a huge hit. There have been complaints about the delicacy of the screens which some consumers believe scratch too easily however various protective sleeves are available.

Sales
Apple has reported record revenues and profits for its most recent quarter and for 2005 as a whole with music-related items now accounting for more than 40 percent of the company's sales.- Demand for the pencil-thin iPod Nano has been far in excess of the company's ability to supply it.
- Having said that - more than one million were sold during the first 17 days it was available.
Conclusion
The Nano is a super stylish small accessory with good music storage and playback facilities.
It aims to be something you can slip in your pocket but its size may make it fragile so remember to handle with care.
As with any hi-fi product it is best to test sound quality before you buy.
