This is Canon's super zoom and it's a hefty competitor in what is becoming a lively area of the digital camera market.

The specifications for the Canon Powershot S2 IS speak for themselves: five Megapixels, 12x zoom with optical image stabilisation, high video resolution and the critically acclaimed DIGIC II processor.
