Samsung E720 was launched in summer of 2005 as an upgrade to the E700.
The E720 maintains the clamshell design but in black and silver. Features includes MP3 player, megapixel camera with flash, video camera with sound recording for up to one hour, voice recorder, MP3 ringtones.
Also includes external MP3 controls offering access to your music files which means you do not have to open the handset to keep connected to all your favourite music. External controls include rewind or fast forward. In addition to all of that you also get 64 polyphonic ringtones, MP3 ringtones and Java games thrown in.
Video and images can be downloaded to the phone VIA MMS/WAP or your computer. Other features include 90 MB of memory storage, USB or Bluetooth wireless connectivity, 262k colour screen, external display OLED energy saving LCD screen with 65k colours.
The Samsung E720 continues to be a popular phone with Review Centre's users a year after its release and shows no signs of being a dated phone. BluetoothThe Samsung E720 was replaced by the Samsung E530 but the E720 remains a decent phone with a high level of spec, as testified by Review Centre contributors, and is available these days at bargain prices.
Weighing in at only 90g and only 91x45x23mm the Samsung E720 remains a good handy mobile entertainment and communication tool which should not disappoint.
