The Dell Axim X51 is one of several cheap but sophisticated PDAs recommended by Review Centre users. Rated highly for its screen quality, ease of use and value for money it's both fast and reliable say owners. The Dell Axim X51 comes with 64 MB RAM, 3.5 in TFT, IrDA, Bluetooth and Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0. About Dell PDA's

Dell started selling PDAs in 2002 with the Axim X5 offering 32MB RAM, 32MB flash ROM, 16-Bit TFT display, speaker, microphone, etc plus Pocket PC and Windows Mobile Software. It was fairly hefty though - 6.9 ounces - unlike up-to-date models. The Dell Axim X5 was superseded by the lighter more Dell Axim X. The Dell Axim X51 was launched late September 2005 with Windows Mobile 5 and additional memory. Several versions have since been produced including a low-end X51, medium X51 and a high-end X51v with VGA screen, a 624MHz processor and 256MB flash ROM. So carefully check specification before buying. Of note for fans for hit TV show 24 is the fact that the Dell Axim X51 was used by the US military and political staff in the show!

Supported Flash Memory Cards are CompactFlash (type II), SD Memory Card, MultiMediaCard. Supported Digital Audio Formats are MP3, WMA. Wireless Connectivity includes IrDA, Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11b. Comes with voice recorder, microphone and speakers.
